Chris Loomis, Circulation Desk Supervisor & Reserve Coordinator

Chris Loomis is from Belle Fourche, South Dakota, on the northern edge of the Black Hills.

He started his music studies at the University of South Dakota before moving to the Conservatory/University of Orleans in France, Ludwig-Maxilians-Universtitat in Germany, and finally the University of Minnesota.

At those universities he obtained a BA in English literature and has studied music composition, voice, and French horn.

Chris serves as the stack manager for the Music Library, as well as operations co-ordinator, overseeing student workers and assuring the general well-being of the collection.
